As tourist numbers grow so does our business and as a result we are looking to bring someone in to oversee the development and continuous improvement of our Chief Launch Master team.

Maritime experience is preferred but to succeed in this role we are looking for:

  • A senior leader capable of providing strategic leadership and advice
  • Ability to offer analytical and strategic focused solutions as well as meeting the operational day-today demands
  • Maintain and grow positive working relationships with external agencies and stakeholders
  • A high level of knowledge of and ability to implement the Maritime Transport Operator Plan (MTOP), ensuring all aspects are understood, implemented and adhered to by all staff that have responsibilities under the MTOP
  • Ability to work with internal stakeholders to ensure all vessels and related plant and equipment is maintained efficiently
  • Understanding of all legislation concerning Health & Safety, Maritime regulations and the operation of vessels
  • Excellent skills in the areas of communication, presentation, research, time management, computers and working to deadlines

As Maritime Compliance Manager, you will be someone who can come in and enhance the maritime safety culture through organisational development and empowering our Chief Launch Masters to ensure performance excellence, legal compliance and the highest standards of communication and cooperation are achieved across the business.
