Do you hail from a marine background and love all that's involved with ensuring vessels sail smoothly and safely? Real Journeys are looking for a Marine Superintendent with a proven record in project management to join our Engineering team in Bluff!
What does the role involve?
We are seeking an experienced Marine Superintendent to co-ordinate, project manage and oversee the implementation of assigned work packages at the Bluff Maintenance facility. You will have overall responsibility for the people, processes and our maintenance facility in Bluff on a permanent, full time basis. You will be leading a team of Real Journeys maintenance staff and contractors ensuring work packages are implemented on time and within budget without compromising standards, regulatory compliance and most importantly - safety. You will also be a key member of the engineering management team providing advice, guidance and mentoring necessary to solve key problems and deliver high levels of operational performance for our vessels.

As Marine Superintendent, you will be well organised, pragmatic and able to handle a diverse and complex workload. You will also have proven leadership and engineering management skills and good interpersonal skills necessary to lead a diverse team and build and maintain external relationships.
