In the heart of Doubtful Sound our esteemed overnight vessel the Navigator is waiting for you to join the crew in sharing this pristine environment with people from all over the world!
We require crew members with a passion for people and the outdoors, who can maintain great service throughout the busy routine on board. This could be the hardest job you'll ever love. Dedicated training enables you to get to know the job, the boat and most importantly the team of 10 you will be working and living with.
Preparing and serving meals and drinks
Servicing and cleaning rooms
Loading and unloading of supplies
Assisting with outdoor activities such as kayaking
This is a fixed term, full-time position starting immediately and finishing late May 2019 where you are lucky enough to be on a 7 days on, 7 days off roster, providing you with an unique opportunity to work and play hard in this beautiful part of Southern New Zealand. You'll be based on board the vessel for your days on; with your own accommodation and all meals provided working and living on the vessel with the rest of the crew including a Launch Master, Team Leader, Chef and Nature Guide.
As part of your role you will have the opportunity to gain a NZ Certificate in Domestic Maritime Crewing - a NZQA approved qualification.
