Lodge Crew - Meridian Lodge, West Arm

About the Role

We're looking for a Lodge Attendant to work at the Meridian Lodge, which accommodates up to 30 staff and contractors who are involved with the daily operations of the West Arm Power Station on Lake Manapouri. This a full-time, live in position, which will see you living in the Lodge in our staff accommodation provided. It's the perfect role for someone looking to work remotely and escape the day-to-day bustle, or someone looking for some work-life balance.

You will be required to:

• Welcome and host guests
• Maintain the cleanliness of the accommodation, including servicing rooms
• Prepare, cook and serve breakfast, dinner and drinks daily
• Coordinate the day-to-day requirements of the lodge and its guests
• Perform administration duties associated with the Lodge operations

Skills & Experience

• Excellent people and communication skills are key in this role
• Experience or eagerness to work in a remote environment
• Ability to work autonomously
• Experience in a similar role, or working with food preparation and safety
• Reporting and administration skills
• Duty Manager's Certificate is preferable, but not essential
