Are you an energetic, people person who would love to share what Queenstown has to offer with people from all over the world?
Real Journeys are looking for a couple of new team members to help out our Queenstown operations where needed. Based primarily at Steamer Wharf, you could be assisting with crowd control at one of our visitor centres, helping with queue management for the TSS Earnslaw or answering customer's questions as they come up. You'll spend your days interacting with customers, whether they're waiting to get on their bus to Milford or checking in for their Walter Peak experience. You will quite often be one of the first people our guests see upon arrival.
This is a part-time role for our busy summer season, starting now and finishing in February 2020. The shifts we be from 9am - 6pm and for the right person, we can be flexible with days.
We are looking for someone who is a people person with excellent communication skills and a natural host. As you'll be part of a big team, you have to have great verbal and written skills. You'll be assisting with crowd control and the unloading and loading of passengers or freight, so you'll also require a good level of fitness. No experience is necessary as full training will be provided.
In return, you'll be working for one of New Zealand's leading tourism providers so you'll be exposed to an awesome work environment and some really cool perks, such as the ability to try some of our products for free with your friends and family and access to discounts across our wider group (Cardrona, Go Orange, Canyon Food & Brew and the International Antarctic Centre).
So, if you'd love a summer role where you really get to make a difference to people's Queenstown experience, and you think you have what it takes to make our customer experience even more remarkable, then apply today!
