Are you a sociable soul with a passion for sales and you're looking for a summer job?
We're on the hunt for a sales champion for our Te Anau Visitor Centre. Your job will be to deliver great service while engaging with customers. You will be responsible for effectively selling Real Journeys products and excursions and ensuring our visitors receive excellent customer service. You will work between Real Journeys and the Fiordland iSITE so you must maintain an excellent knowledge of all local products and attractions on offer. You'll also be responsible for checking guests in for Real Journeys products and checking passenger manifests.
You will be someone who is a proactive, can anticipate customers' needs and optimise sales opportunities. Previous experience in the tourism industry, or in a similar role, is preferable. You'll need to be able to manage your time effectively and multi-task in a fast paced, demanding environment whilst remaining personable and professional. You'll be responding to requests in person and also via phone or email, so you must be a confident communicator.
This is a full time, fixed term role for our busy summer season, starting in December and finishing April, 2020. A mix of weekday and weekend work is available.
